TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE – CORPORATE CLIENTS

Our client is a company specializing in design, installation and maintenance of Automation, ICT & AV technology solutions. Currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented technical sales executive to join the team. The position is based in Nairobi with Frequent travel around the country.

 

Overall Job Summary:

As a technical sales executive, you will drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products or services. Your role will be pivotal in effectively communicating technical information to customers and helping to develop and maintain relationships to build trust.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and understanding customer needs and aligning product offerings with their requirements.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers by discussing and explaining technical concepts simply throughout the sales process.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations to showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales pre-sales engineers and implementation departments of the company when needed, to design customized solutions that address clients’ specific needs.
  • Create detailed proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and implementation plans to effectively communicate the value proposition of the proposed solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Researching the current market trends and learning about new technology products.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any engineering course, ICT, Computer Science, BSC -Physics, Mathematics
  • 3+ years’ proven experience in corporate technical sales.
  • Self-confident individual with ability to easily interact with higher management in the client organizations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface effectively with clients.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
